Starting March 2, 2009, Arvin Transit will offer new and expanded service in Arvin as well as Lamont.
o Arvin Local: Trips every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
o Arvin - Lamont: Six roundtrips (7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.) each weekday between Arvin and Lamont.

Arvin Transit and Dial-A-Ride service does not operate on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Arvin Transit offers Dial-A-Ride service to seniors (age 60 and older) and to ADA certified patrons. *Dial-A-Ride is a reservation-based service offered weekdays, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. To schedule a trip please call Arvin Transit at (661) 854-3139.
