Starting October 4th, 2010, Arvin Transit will offer new and expanded service to Tejon Ranch, in Arvin, as well as to Lamont.

• Arvin Local: Trips every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Arvin to Lamont: Six roundtrips (7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.) each weekday between Arvin and Lamont.
• Arvin to Tejon Industrial Complex, two round trips per day, 4:10 am and 1:05 pm.

Arvin Transit and Dial-A-Ride service does not operate on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

• Pay your fare (exact change only).
• Be respectful of your driver and fellow passengers.
• Reserve front seats for elderly and/or disabled passengers.
• Keep hands and objects inside vehicle.
• Remain seated until vehicle comes to a complete stop.
• Report any vandalism to driver.

DON'Ts

• No smoking.
• No offensive language or threatening behavior.
• No music or excessive noise.
• No food or drinks onboard.
• No marking/defacing the vehicle.
• No pets/animals except assistance animals with an official tag.

Note: Drivers may refuse service to persons acting inappropriately or causing harm to other customers or driver. Passengers unwilling to abide by these guidelines may be barred from using the City's transportation services.

Dial-A-Ride
Arvin Transit offers Dial-A-Ride service to seniors (age 60 and older) and to ADA certified patrons. *Dial-A-Ride is a reservation-based service offered weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. To schedule a trip please call Arvin Transit at (661) 854-3139.
