Dial-A-Ride

Older individual riding the automated ramp on a Dial-A-Ride transportation vehicleThe Dial-A-Ride Program is a service that picks up seniors (age 60 and older) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) certified disabled patrons wherever they would like (regardless of location), drive them to the location of their choice, pick them up at the location when the patron is finished with their errand, and drive them back to their point of departure.

It's a daily part of life for many residents of the City of Arvin and provides much needed logistical support for a wide range of people, making Arvin Transit a part of community life.

Reservation Based Service

Dial-A-Ride is a reservation-based service offered weekdays, from 8 am until 3:30 pm. To schedule a trip, please call Arvin Transit at 661-854-3139.

Dial-A-Ride Fares

Amounts provided are exact fare only; drivers do not make change.

  • ADA Certified Passengers: $1
  • ADA Attendant: Free
  • Children under 5 (with fare paying adult): Free
  • Seniors (60 and above): $1
